Life-coaching
I offer a limited number of evening sessions (either 06:00 – 07:00 pm or 07:00 – 08:00 pm or 08:00 – 09:00 pm). These are reserved for individuals who are working during the day and so cannot make daytime sessions. Each evening session is conducted on zoom.
Saturday morning sessions (09:30 – 10:30 am or 11:00 am – 12:00 midday) are conducted in-person and are available to couples and individuals.
We work together on a one-to-one basis either via Zoom or in person. Our goal during this confidential and collaborative process is to provide an open and supportive space for you to address the issues that are concerning you.
I offer help with a wide variety of issues such as general anxiety, social anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, abuse, relationship problems, trauma, lack of confidence, grief, loss and bereavement, overthinking, negative intrusive thoughts or past painful memories or hurts.
Clients sometime don’t know what their issues are but know that they are unhappy and/or hurting, and that’s okay as we work together to discover what is troubling them and help them recover and move forward.
We meet once a week on Zoom or In-person for a 50 min session normally between (09:30 am – 05:30 pm) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. A limited number of evening sessions are open to those who work full time during the day.
These sessions are for couples or family relations (e.g. mother daughter) who are experiencing problems in their marriage/relationship.
Couples relationship issues can include; infidelity, boredom, arguing, differing intimacy preferences, unhealthy attachment styles, different parenting styles, disagreements about money, lifestyle, in-laws, or friendships outside the relationship, continual arguments, loss of trust, lack of connection, “falling out of love”, lack of fun, feeling unhappy, etc..
Family relationships can become difficult to navigate when both parties become entrenched in their own views, this can result in arguments, emotional pain and or bitterness. The ripples of such rifts can touch other family members and create an unhealthy family environment at home.
Whatever the issue, I adopt an impartial, supportive and non-judgemental stance which allows us to address the needs, concerns, feeling and emotions of you both.
Your sessions will enable you to move your relationship forward to a more positive and fulfilling one, in which you learn how to prioritise yourselves and each other in order to build a better more loving relationship.
Apart from couples who are seeking help to make their relationship work some couples just want help with ending the relationship and having a “good” goodbye.
Life coaching is for you if you want support on how to navigate a significant life or career change, help in forming healthy relationships, dealing with conflict at work or home, or just building a happier, more balanced life.
I do not give advice but help build your self-agency in making your own decisions and taking the action you need / want to.
I use coaching, NLP and a neuroscience psychoeducational approach to help you overcome the obstacles that hold you back from achieving the success you want.
Session Timings
In-person Counselling & Psychotherapy
Face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy is available to those who live in Dundee, and surrounding areas. We would meet once a week initially for 4-6 weeks. Each session lasts around 50 minutes. At the end of this period, we will jointly assess how you’re getting on and whether or not you need further sessions.
Our time together will focus on what you feel you need most at that time and work at a pace that suits you.
Online Counselling & Psychotherapy.
The majority of our sessions are run on-line as clients tend to prefer the convenience it offers them no matter where they are in the world (as long as they are in a private space with reliable internet service). Like our in-person session we will meet once a week for 50 mins. The number of sessions required is the same as in-person therapy and progress is reviewed at 4-6 weeks.
In-person or On-line Couples and
Relationship Therapy
We offer both short term, long term and open-ended counselling and psychotherapy sessions, along with flexible appointments either online via Zoom or in-person, or a combination of both.
We offer both working weekday and Saturday sessions.
Online Life Coaching
We will meet once a week. A single session will last 50mins. You can book two sessions back-to-back if that meets your requirements. The number of sessions required depends on the extent of the coaching you need. This will be discussed with you at your initial session.
All life-coaching sessions are run on Zoom and during the working week and day.
